Move In Day

Well tomorrow is the big day! Move in day at Carolina! Really looking forward to a great year. Excited about the upcoming year and really feeling like it's going to be a better year. Be checking for more consistent updates on here from now on. Hope everyone has enjoyed their summer...but its time to get back at it! I will let everyone know how tomorrow goes.

This Weekend

This weekend has been pretty busy, but very exciting! Yesterday we went to Columbia for a campus tour and to look around Columbia for apartments. Well we headed down in the morning (the trip was so much shorter!) and looked at a few apartments (The Loft & Stadium Suites) before we had our information meeting and tour. The tour was nice because it helped me find where some of the building were and sort of get acclimated to campus. After the tour of course I had to go to the bookstore and get a shirt. Then we went and looked at a few more apartments (Aspyre & Olympia and Granby) and decided to go back and sign a lease at the Stadium Suites! So I have a place to live in the fall.

Well my Summer II classes are coming to an end very quickly (only 7 class days left). I've got a medical paper due by the end of the week, so that will keep me plenty busy. Hope everyone has a great week!

The Decision (My Version)

So if you haven't heard this fall I will being going to the University of South Carolina. I decided that USC had the major that was more interesting to me now. At Clemson the Health Science major was focused more of diseases in the population, while at Carolina the Exercise Science focuses more on human fitness and movement. So I'm really looking forward to the change this fall. I have a lot to do in the next few weeks with trying to find housing and figuring out my schedule. Continue to pray that all these things fall into place...like everything else has so far.

Prayer Request

This week Daniel Dulaney is having his surgery. To find out more about his story and to follow their journey go to www.journeytoahealingheart.blogspot.com and check it out. I ask that you keep him and his family in your prayers. I am all too familiar with having a family member going through heart surgery and I know how much your prayer and support will help them get through this. I am reminded of the verse my mom always read in the difficult times: Psalm 139:13-16

¹³ For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
¹⁴ I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
¹⁵ My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
¹⁶ your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
Nothing is ever a surprise to God. Pray that through all this that God would get the glory. Praying that God shows His healing power to the Dulaney family.
